NEW YORK (October 11, 2017)SourceMedia, a diversified digital B2B media company serving senior decision-makers in finance, technology and healthcare, was honored with four Folio: leadership awards. Matthew Yorke and Paul Vogel join the ranks of the 100 Most Influential People in Media; Bonnie McGeer received a mentorship award as part of the Top Women in Media program; and Rebecca Sausner was named a Top Women in Media Corporate Visionary.

The Folio: 100 is the magazine and media industry's best-known and most prestigious list of innovators, entrepreneurs and market shaker-uppers. Honorees were feted during a celebratory reception on October 9, 2017 at The Folio: Show at the Hilton Midtown in New York.

“SourceMedia is innovating across all departments and teams,” said Doug Manoni, CEO of SourceMedia. “Each of these individuals contributes to SourceMedia’s business and culture in their own unique way. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication to the company’s success.”

Matthew Yorke, SourceMedia’s CMO was recognized for his work in overhauling the company’s entire marketing strategy to better leverage its base of 2 million subscribers and for his work on SourceCode, which taps directly into SourceMedia’s proprietary, first-party audience data to engineer integrated marketing solutions.

Paul Vogel, SouceMedia’s Vice President, Content Operations was honored for his significant contributions and leadership in the transformation of the company’s content organization. Specifically, Vogel led the implementation of SocialFlow into SourceMedia’s integrated content technology stack, which increased social media referral traffic by 300 percent. Vogel also helped establish the SourceMedia Content Studio, a unit tasked with fulfilling custom and native content for clients, including art direction, and led an initiative to grow SourceMedia’s referral network both organically and through strategic partnerships.

Bonnie McGeer and Rebecca Sausner were honored at Folio:’s Top Women in Media Luncheon in New York City in June.

McGeer, who is Executive Editor of American Banker, was recognized by Folio: for her mentorship of young women, helping them to become better journalists and, in their reporting, to navigate corporations that historically favor men. In her role, McGeer contributes content and strategy to banking’s leading information resource, and oversees its award-winning monthly magazine. She chairs the brand’s Most Powerful Women in Banking committee, which itself includes a mentorship program for women in financial services.

Rebecca Sausner is SourceMedia Vice President, Content and Strategy for Events. Sausner was also honored earlier this year for her work introducing and executing ten new events, in three years, that brought in more than $4 million in revenue and drew more than 5,000 attendees.
