NEW YORK, NY (March 2, 2016) – SourceMedia LLC – a diversified digital media company serving senior professionals in the financial services, technology and healthcare industries – today announced the appointment of Dennis Strong as Group Publisher, Banking, a role that includes management of American Banker, Credit Union Journal and PaymentsSource.
Strong will be responsible for development and execution of a strategy to expand the company’s market share across these related segments of the financial services industry. Strong, who reports to Chief Revenue Officer Marianne Collins, will continue to serve as Publisher for SourceMedia’s Mortgage Group, a role he assumed in 2015.
“Dennis’s strategic role as Publisher of the Mortgage Group has proven his ability to drive media revenue and recruit sales talent as well as translate technology and data into effective market positioning,” said Collins. “His experience and track record will be critical in growing our multi-platform portfolio and evolving our brands in a rapidly transforming industry.”
Strong joined SourceMedia in 2010 as Sales Director for Group Accounts, and went on to serve in a variety of leadership positions. In 2014, he was elevated to Vice President, Content Sales, leading the circulation sales and marketing team; in this role he managed conference attendee sales and expanded the company’s paid subscription revenues, including those of American Banker.
Strong began his career as a General Manager and Vice President of Sales for SiteLogic Technologies, a technology-based litigation support company.
